One of my favourite movie

Atonement
2007

Out of jealousy, a 13 year old girl irrevocably ruins her older-sister and the latter's lover's happiness when she accuses her older sister's lover of a crime he did not commit. Follow her through a tale of redemption where she tries to depict a happy ending for the ill-fated lovers in her tell-all novel in an attempt to seek forgiveness...

Atonement is a movie directed by Joe Wright and starring Keira Knightley, whom style I absolutely adore, and James McAvoy. The story is adapted from a novel of the same name by Ian McEwan.

Its a romantic drama taking place during World War II and the story is very sad. It is really not recommended for fans of happy ending. However, if you enjoy a realistic and heart wrenching story from time to time, I highly recommend this movie. Prepare your kleenex!!!

Language of flowers

Language of flowers is also called floriography, it is a way of assigning meaning to flowers. This practice was created in Victorian times as a mean of communication and various flowers were used to send code messages to one's lover. Flowers allow people to express feelings that could not be spoken in words. Even though the practice is no longer used and necessary today, I still find this language very fascinating so I'm gonna share some commons flowers' meaning with everyone :)

Delicious treats !!!

I am going to share with everyone a very easy and basic way of making little cupcakes. Before discovering this recipe, all my attemps at baking failed and I have wasted tons of ingredients for nothing :( My cakes were too dry or uncooked... The following recipe has enabled me to bake my first successful cupcakes and I hope that it can help more people enjoy culinary art !!! XD

Ingredients:
-vanilla powder (0.5g)
-cake flour (120g)
-4 eggs
-vegetable oil (60g)
-sugar (130g)
-salt (1g)
-cream of tartar (2g)
-baking soda (3g)
-milk (60g)

1-Mix the flour, baking soda and vanilla powder together
2-Separate the eggs into white egg and yellow egg.
3-Pour the milk into yellow eggs and mix them with vegetable oil, sugar (60g) and salt
4-Mix step 1 and step3 together
5-With an egg mixer, beat the white eggs and cream of tartar
6-Add sugar (70g) to the mixture in step5
7-Continue to beat the mixture with an egg mixer until it becomes like dry bubbles
8-Add step 7's mixture to step 4's mixture and mix up until the whole mixture becomes smooth
9-Pour the mixture into a mold and bake it 35 minutes at 180*C
Enjoy!!!
Hi everyone and welcome to my blog!!!

This is the first time that I am creating a blog. As a McGill student in management, this blog is for my information system course.

I am a girl who really loves fashion so my articles will probably be on the latest trend. I also start to learn about cooking, so I will post many easy recipes for people who, like me, don't have a talent in cooking XD

Thanks to anyone who's visiting my blog and I will try to update as much as possible xoxo
